Well, we are down to the last 3 weeks ;0) I can't wait to meet Lee and hold him, although I do have to admit, I'm going to miss being pregnant. Especially since I never thought I could get pregnant to begin with, it's sure been a whirlwind!
Here's some of the things I have been feeling a lot of lately:
1) A LOT of pressure "down there". It sometimes feels like I'm carring a 20lb bowling ball!
2) I read in my Dr. office that if you have to "urinate" more than 8 times a day that could mean a problem. I thought to myself... I "urinate" more than 8 times by noon! LOL... at night I definately get up 2 times if not 3 times.
3) Braxton Hix Contrax are still in full swing... some days I have none, and other days I have 10. I think it just depends on how active I am. They are definately very far from being regular.
4) I started getting stretch marks this week. They are only on my lower right side of my belly so far, I think I started to get them though because Lee is dropping.
5) I haven't had any acid reflux until this past week. It seems if I eat too much/too fast/drink too much or too fast I get acid reflux type feeling and it burns. That's a very awkward feeling. Water mostly will give me that feeling.
That's all I can think of for right now. It's funny because I was all panic-ie before to have everything ready and set up for Lee. He's all ready and set up for, I can't possibly think of anything that I have missed or that I need, but I was laying down today and I thought to myself "I wonder if I should start packing for myself?". LOL... I still haven't packed my hospital bag... ooops, I'll probably get on that Tuesday. I don't know why that's not making me panic, just stuff for Lee was... weird.
Other than that, my last Dr. visit went good. I had my first internal exam and that was a joy :D At least now I know what to expect. Lee is still in "position" although I wasn't dialated yet. She said that my blood pressure is really good. I have quite a bit of swelling though and she told me to try and stay off my feet as much as possible. She said that I should elevate my feet when I'm sitting down too. Today when I woke up, under my right foot it's bruised because it's been so swollen and I have been walking/standing on it quite a bit lately, so today Steve and I had a very lazy day. It's feeling much better now.
That's all I have for now! I'll post again soon if anything changes. I have my next Dr. appointment on Wednesday.

OK, so here's the crazy thing... Chan's last post on her Blog was 37 weeks. NOW SHE HAS A BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How's that for a HOLY COW! I was thinking about it the other day when Chan was at the hospital delivering. I was running around doing my normal things, and I thought, "Wow. I could not imagine some Dr. saying, 'OK, here ya go!' and handing me a baby." What's funny is... It's not like it's my first time at this, but somehow the thought of it FREAKED me out the other day!
Ya I didn't start to get stretch marks until the last month or two too! I though I was home free and then bam I exploded with them almost over night! =(
I also had acid reflux with Madison, it was so bad that I had to sleep sitting up because I would spit up the burning stuff and I was afraid I would choke to death at night.
I totally miss being pregnant for sure all the way! BUT BUT BUT the baby, the kids, they are so much better, trust me! You'll miss the kicking and the cute maternity clothes, the attention, all of that, but nothing compares to actually having the baby that you carried in your arms and watching them grow. There is nothing better in life! I LOVE being a mom and I just want more!!!
I'm so glad you get to experience this Sara!!!! I'm SO happy for you!!! I can't wait to meet Lee!
