Last week I went to my OB Dr. It was a new Dr. this time... every month when I go in I get to meet a new Dr. in the office so when I deliver, I am comfortable with whoever is on call. Steve came with again, which was really nice to have him there because we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. We have seen it before on the ultrasounds, but we have never actually heard it. The Dr. found it almost immediately and it was SO strong!! The count was 146BPM. That was really cool!! We also scheduled our next appointment which will be on January 31st and it will be to determine the sex! WHOO-HOO!! I can't wait. I think Steve is even more excited than me, if that is possible (:D).
That is all I have for now. I don't think my belly has changed much, so maybe next week I'll do a belly shot. Below is a picture of "Dots" first stuffed animal. Kelly got this for us at Christmas to her future niece/nephew from "Auntie Kelly". It's a huskie dog... sooo cute!! Thanks Kelly!!

Hmmm... A heart rate of 146? Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess it's a girl. I'm probably wrong but my little guy's HRs have been in the 150s. I've heard an old wives tale that there is a difference in the HRs between girls and boys. Not sure if it's true or not and I'm not sure if which way it goes. I guess we'll see in a few weeks. :-)
