15 Weeks!
I went to my Thyroid appointment today and finally saw the endocronologist Dr. She was really nice and went through everything with me. She looked at my previous test results (they were from October) and she went through her normal routine.
She said my test results were good for the baby, bad for me. She said that all the baby really needs from me is my T4 hormone. That hormone level was perfectly normal. On the other hand, my TSH level was almost non-existent and that is something that I need to keep my body temperature steady.
She asked if I had ever had my neck scanned. I had not, so she told me that my thyroid was "very large". She asked if I ever had trouble swallowing, I told her no, and then she had me do this swallow test so she could see for herself.
So, she sent me for more blood work and made another appointment for January 24th. If there is anything urgent on the results of this last blood work, then she will give me a call to come in earlier.
I then had a 4 hour little escapade to go and get my blood work done. I was supposed to be at work at 2:30 and didn't end up making it in at all, which they weren't happy about, but oh well.
Other than that, I feel great!! I'm still a little sleepy, Steve and I both have colds again (his is MUCH worse than mine though, I feel horrible for him!!) and my belly is continuing to grow ;0) I'll post another belly picture next week sometime. It's getting to the point where none of my clothes fit me anymore.

I'm glad to hear the positive. Also interested to hear what they find out. I would image it's hard to keep your body temperature the same with it being so cold out.
Miss you.
I hate thyroids! I'm praying that all goes well with that.
I'm glad to hear the baby and you are doing so well though other wise!!!! Besides the cold I mean, lol. I have a cold too...again!! I just got over one that lasted over 2 weeks and now I'm miserably sick again. Oh well.
Love you Sara!! Can't wait to see your bump again!

Sylvia is going for the neck scan next week. Her Dr also thinks her thyroid is too big. She has no trouble swallowing either. She has been on thyroid meds most of her life. I don't remember her ever saying what components are high, low, or normal. But with a pill a day she is ok. Can't wait to see the next picture of your swelling belly.
Did you guess what your X-Mas gift was. Me being able to jump the baking dog was a terrible clue! But then I'm prejudiced!
LOL, Mom
Hi Sara!
How are you doing? Sounds like things are going well. The thyroid thing is strange though! I bet you are super tired too. I'm really bummbed I didn't get to see you and Nicci. I was working crazy style that week. We had 10 services! And now I'm in Iowa. We come home tomorrow.
I hope we can get together SOON!! My life has gotten a ton simpler now that Christmas is over! I know Crystal would love to see you too! What is your work schedule like. Also, how is Steve doing?
Glad to hear things are still going okay at this point. I read your other post from Dec. 14th. I had a terribly itchy belly with Ellie but so far nothing with this one. I used with Ellie, and am using now, Palmer's Cocoa Butter Massage Lotion for stretch marks. It's supposed to help reduce the amount of stretch marks and helped with the itching some what. I put it on with Ellie in the morn, after a shower, and at night before bed. Some days, nothing helped at all. Just hang in there. Talk to you soon.
