Update...
So we had a pretty big snowstorm yesterday and my Dr. called and said that they were cancelling my appointment and would get me in as soon as they could (literally the Dr. called me, no one else was in the office). Therefore I couldn't go :( Oh well, I'm actually feeling really good and I'm not nearly as paranoid about my thyroid as I was. My Dr. told me that the endocronologist sometimes will wait until after 12 weeks because that is when my hormone levels will even out. He also said that the baby will very soon start producing it's own thyroid hormone and won't be stealing mine anymore. So we'll have to wait and see what they say.

I'm still feeling really, really good!! My back is really sore now and then, but I think that's just because I work with a bunch of midgets (AKA 4 year olds) and I'm bending over all day. It's feeling a lot better today though. I've been nauscious only a few days here and there, but nothing really that I can complain about. Many, many other people are way sicker than I.

We are decorating for Christmas today and I'm so excited. I'm glad that we didn't do it last weekend because now when you look out the window you see snow and frost and it just feels that much more Christmas-y. LOL. You should see all the snow we have outside... it's crazy. Steve's Mom left a comment that it was in the 20's Vegas and 60 degrees here in IL last weekend when we went hiking. Well, one week later, we caught up. It's now in the high 20's here too ;0)

Oh, I have also been asked by Mom if I was going to find out the sex of the baby. Yeppers, I definately am not one to wait and I don't trust my own instinct. I actually don't have an instinct. I couldn't tell you what I even think I'm having because I'm totally confused. It could be either and I can see myself with either, so I'm going to have the Dr. take a look and tell me. It's funny though because Steve was at first against the idea of finding out, and that he wanted to be surprised. I told him that we will talk about that when the time comes because we had a long time to go. Our Dr. doesn't do "that" ultrasound until 22 weeks. Anyways, when we were at the 12 week ultrasound appointment Steve was so excited and kept asking me "do you think they will be able to tell what it is?". I just kept laughing because first it's way too soon and second he completely changed his mind. I didn't realize until then that he wanted to find out the sex. Just a funny story. Ha, ha...

I'll let you know when my next thyroid appointment is... I have to call on Monday and make the appointment.

OK. I'll get off your back now. :-) I'm glad you're feeling well. I'm quite jealous! I'm sure you're having a boy. Girls are evil when you're pregnant with them - they suck the life out of you (which is why Kayleigh is SO beautiful - hahahahaha!!! J/K!).

The cold front hit Texas on Wednesday. I was in Austin. The Dell campus is HUGE and walking form building to building was insane! I had to buy a hat, scarf and gloves because I thought I was going to freeze to death!

I'm pretty sure it's a boy! :) Then you can have a girl like me. I'm glad to hear that the tyroid things isn't urgent.

Miss you.
Brooke.

Glad to hear things are not so urgent with your thyroid. It gets so scary at times! I didn't trust my intuition, regarding the baby's sex, with my first 2 pregnancies and I turned out to be right with both. This time I've actually said out loud that I think it's a boy. I never verbalized it with the other too. Hope I'm not just wishing too much! No matter what, a healthy baby is the most important! I love chatting with someone else going through this right now. It's so much fun! Too bad we're just a little bit too far away to share in person! Now if we can only get Amy and Matt to jump on the baby bandwagon we'd be all set! LOL!!! Take care and talk to you soon. Hugs to you both!
Love ,
Chan
