So we had our 12 week appointment today :) Steve was able to come with which was awesome having him there! Everything looked good. Dot is a little over 2 inches long with a heartbeat of 172BPM. Below are 2 photos that we got from the ultrasound tech. It was REALLY CUTE... Dot kept putting "its" hand up by "its" head. It's so amazing how much movement there is at this early. What I'm so excited about is it looked like a baby... well, the first picture looked like a baby. Take a look!

On the left side of this photo you can see the baby's legs crossed over each other. On the right side you can see the profile of the baby. You can see the big noggin and the belly.
This is the photo where our baby looks like a ALIEN!!! The tech said that it's VERY normal "front view" look at the baby :( You can see the forhead, where the eyes will be, the nose, mouth and belly. On the top of the head is the arm I was telling you about. How Dot was moving their hand up and down.All in all it was a very good visit and pretty normal. I gained 4 pounds and I still have the cyst on my right ovary. Other than that, everything looks great ;0)
PS - We (aka Steve) is almost done with the babys room and I have been taking pictures all along the way, so I will be posting those very, very soon!!

Haha.....our "Dots" getting so big. lol. Congrads, sis.....only a few more months till it goes from 2 inches to a foot long. lol.

Oh Sara how fun!!!! We have an alien pic of Mad too. I can't wait to see pics of the baby's room and of that baby bump!!
Dot doesn't look much like a Dot anymore! Can't wait to see the room when you(aka Steve) get it finished. Sounds like a good plan. Do you want to know the sex before arrival? I never did. It seemed to be more fun guessing and of course I always guessed correctly. Mothers are like that you know! Keep posting. Love and miss you all. Mom

So, do you still have to drink a ton of water before your ultra sound? I remember when I had Kayle's I almost peed on the bed!
Happy day! I love the ultrasound pictures! Malachy had an alien picture too! I can't wait to see the baby's room. =)
