When Lee is 16 and sucking up to me because he wants something that I'm saying "NO" to, I'm going to remind him of the other days conversation. Yes, he's 2. Yes, I shouldn't hold him responsible, but I'm going to. Because I'm that kind of Mom. :)
Lee: Daddy I really MISS you! (lots of emphasis on 'miss')
Steve: I missed you too! Did you miss Mommy?
Lee: Nope
End.of.conversation!!!
PS - It was a tad bit cute that he came up with it all on his own and out of the blue to Steve. AND I do love their bond that they have! Well... most of the time ;)
