Lee's New Room

I remember when I was little, looking outside at the pretty snow and wishing so bad I could go out and play in it. This morning Lee was in kind of a funk and just wanted to cuddle with his "blankie and bink". We usually only allow these to stay in his room, so he headed upstairs to find them and spend some quiet time looking out his window and snuggling.

I tried playing peek-a-boo with him, but he was pretty quiet still, so I left him to cuddle some more. I got him his new"Cars" book to see if reading would help. Although he was happy doing that for awhile, he still wasn't smiling. So we just had to break all the rules in the book and jump on his bed. He had fun doing that and I was able to get my smiley monkey boy back.





























Gosh, I know I'm going to miss the day when he doesn't carry around his blanket and bink anymore. He always looks so much smaller to me when he has those two things with him. I'm glad I was able to get a few good shots of Lee with his two favorite items.
