7 Months Old

7 Months Old
A couple of photos ;)

Photobucket Lee is an awesome eater. He never really has not liked any of his food as of yet. He had "chicken" the other night on Wednesday for the first time and this was the face he gave us. We laughed and then he persisted to cry. I gave him a whole jar of green beans and then another bite of chicken and he knew right away and cried. He did NOT like it at all. Poor guy!!

The 2 pictures below are how I found Lee on Thursday Morning. I ran and got my camera. He sat up for the first time on his own. Today (Sunday) Steve was changing Lee's diaper and went to throw it away and when he came back, Lee was sitting up. Those have been the only 2 times he has done it on his own. So we are getting there!!

BUSTED!! Haa, ha. LOL!

Lee can pull himself up on stuff now, just to his knees. He will pull up on his music leap frog table or on the couch, or on me or Steve. He also is getting the hang of scooting forward. He can do side to side, all the way around in a circle, and he can scoot backward. However, starting of Friday afternoon, he started army crawling forward. He doesn't like being on his hands and knees at all, so I don't forsee him crawling or anything like it in the near future.

One last picture is how Steve was "playing" with Lee. Steve was playing Xbox360 and Lee was trying to "help". It's was pretty funny!!

7 Months Old!

Lee is getting in his top 2 teeth and they are driving him crazy. His bottom ones are in, so now when he wants to chomp on your fingers it HURTS!! He doesn't like you looking at his top teeth either.

His sitting is almost perfect! He does so well and can almost get from a laying down position to a full sitting position. If we are next to him and we hold down his feet he can do it all by himself. However, if you are not next to him holding his feet, he will roll over onto his belly. I bet if he figured out how to get onto his elbows while laying on his back he could do it though.

I haven't taken any new pictures, so when I do I'll post some of them!

SIDE NOTES:
Awhile ago, my Mom bought me a smaller stroller to use when we went to Vegas, to take on the plane. Well, I have been using it a little bit when we are out at the mall so you can get into all those tight spaces. I was at my Dad's earlier this week and the front wheel started acting up. It was not working at all, and the whole stroller was veering off to the left. I had only used this stroller a handful of times. So, I took it back to Babies-r-Us and showed them, the manager ended up replacing it at full price, without the receipt or the box!! I was SHOCKED. Needless to say, I didn't get the same one again. I ended up getting one that was a little bit more, but well worth the money. I still LOVE my big stroller and use it most of the time, but it's nice to have this one on hand too when you need more room in the car or for crowded places.

One more shopping note: Disneyshopping.com is having their HUGE blowout sale right now and everything that is on sale (or most things) at an additional 50% off. I got PJ's for Lee that are the tops and bottoms for only $5/each. He's stocked up till he's 2. Enter in the code: BONUS50 for the addtional 50% off. THEN enter in the code: SHIPFOR5 to get all your shipping over $50 for only $5 bucks!! It's awesome!!

13 Weeks (or 3 months old)!

It has been a really busy week for Lee. He is still eating 4-6oz. We tried to use stage 2 nipples, but he Lee just started wearing size 6-9 months in PJ's and 3-6 months in regular clothes this week also. Here are a few things he has started doing this week.

First, he is definately getting his 2 bottom teeth in. When my hands are anywhere near his head he is trying to chew on them. The past 2 days he has been fussy in the evening and when we give him teething tablets it pretty much stops. Last night he was able to fall asleep. Also, when I push down on his gums, I can feel them. It kinda stinks because he doesn't realize that he can chew on toys. I will put teething toys in his mouth and he just looks at me like "why is this in my mouth?". He does however put his hands in his mouth all the time and last Wednesday night, I caught him sucking his thumb while sleeping.

Lee loves laying on the floor now. If we put him on his tummy he will roll over onto his back so he can kick his feet up in the air. A few times he has grabbed onto them with his hands. When you change his diaper now, he will kick his feet up too. Then when he wants to go back to his tummy, he will roll over to his side and kick some more to try to get over onto his stomach. We have to help him do that though.

We have stopped wrapping him for the most part. His Grandma calls it his straight-jacket or his pappoos. Everytime she saw him in it she would try to take him out of it. When he gets really fussy, we will wrap him up in it... but it just seems like he is starting to outgrow it. Plus, with him chewing on his hands so much, I don't want to have them strapped to his side.

We have started Lee on 2 tsp of rice cereal at night in his bottle. So far I don't think he has noticed, but I wanted to start slow because the rice cereal can constipate babies, and I really am hoping not to have that effect by slowly introducing it. We will start spoon feeding next month. We got a booster/high chair seat for Lee when we do start spoon feeding. The picture above is the face he made when I first put him in there. Below is another one. He sits up really well in it, but it's a new feeling for him, so I'm not sure how he likes it.

Speaking of sitting up... whenever I put LJ on the couch to sit, he has started leaning forward on his own, which ends up with Lee face planted on the couch. Ha, ha... it's kinda funny and I laugh every time.

We have had TONS of smiles and a few giggles too!! I have even gotten a few with a my camera. He's getting so big and talking so much. He will carry on a conversation now and I have no clue what he is talking about!

Happy Boy!

What?!? What I do?!?

Hand in the mouth!!

New seat... not sure if we like it yet!

As you can see a lot of new things this week... I have a ton of pictures too :) I just can't stop! Until next week...
